Our Story

About Us

Our Rich History

YFC Military was created in 1980 at the request of US Army Chaplains as part of a collaboration between Youth For Christ and Young Life to reach military youth. At the time, Army chaplains in Europe recognized that they were equipped to minister to service members, and by extension their spouses, but not well equipped to reach military youth.

Today, YFC Military is a chapter of Youth For Christ, USA and our staff support military-connected youth from all branches of service at installations all over the world!

Our vision is that all military-connected youth can be engaged in authentic Christ-sharing relationships, regardless of where their families serve, and our mission is to engage military-connected youth in authentic Christ-sharing relationships through the Campus Life Military ministry model, and help other YFC chapters train and equip their staff to do the same.
